Buying a Home? Here’s how Feng Shui helps you find Family Harmony in your choice
22. August 2009 by admin.
In previous articles, I have introduced some basic Feng Shui principles, which you can read in the archives (http://www.wickedlocal.com/cambridge/search?submit.x=0&submit.y=0&submit=Search&q=lidong+yu%27s+feng+shui&form_action=on). Today I want to describe a famous principle used in home buying. The principle is called Left Dragon and Right Tiger .
Before you buy a house/condo, Outer-Environment-Feng Shui is the first thing you need to check out in your Feng Shui checkpoint list. Let’s start with a Feng Shui principle regarding the Outer-Environment Feng Shui called “Four Magic Creatures”. This is a simple but powerful principle that tells us a lot of information about your house. The four magic creatures are: (East) Dragon, (West) Tiger, (North) Turtle and (South)
The following are some very basic characteristics of this principle:
Creature Direction Five Powers Energy Powers
Dragon East Wood Yang (Masculine)
Tiger West Metal Yin (Feminine)
Turtle North Water Origin of life
In this article, we shall focus on Dragon power (Yang) and Tiger power (Yin).
If you stand in front of your house, your left is “Dragon energy field” and your right is “Tiger energy field”. The Dragon energy represents active and masculine energy, and the Tiger energy represents inactive and feminine energy. The balance between these two fields depends on the environment of the dwelling, the structure of the dwelling, the layout of the garden, the location of the doors, the shape of the path and so on.
